The Elixir of Love at the Winspear
The Dallas Opera is continuing its family season with this comedic, one-act opera (50 minutes) about young man who hopes to win the heart of his true love, with the help a mysterious potion because, you know, that always goes smoothly.
See the costumes and hear the vibrato at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas this Saturday and come early for the crafts and costumes in the lobby at 12:30pm, all for just $5.
American Legacy Celebration
Honor Veterans everywhere with an all-day celebration at McKinney’s Collin County Regional Airport on Saturday. Watch a skydiving team, a balloon glow at sunset, and enjoy kids activities and live music. For a pretty penny, Cavanaugh Flight Museum will be offering rides to adults in their vintage planes.
Proceeds benefit Sons of the Flag, a nonprofit that serves veterans who have survived burn injuries.
